Unión de Mujeres Salvadoreñas

Unión is an association of local women’s organizations – many of which are located in urban areas – throughout El Salvador that is centered in San Salvador. The Unión works to strengthen their members to raise the civic participation of women in the political, social, economic, and cultural spheres. They hope the empowerment of their member organizations will further improve the quality of life for women. Unión has an annual assembly, committee of representatives and a general coordinator that support the group’s structure.
