Youth Activism Project believes that there is no minimum age for leadership. This is why Youth Activism Project fosters teen-led advocacy campaigns and normalizes young people’s participation in decision-making processes. Since their founding in 2004, their teen advocates have influenced the outcome of 34 policies at local, state, national, and international levels, raised over $70,000 for their causes, and co-authored two how-to action guides. Youth Activism Project fosters meaningful youth engagement in civic and political spheres by providing equal access to leadership and advocacy training and community-building resources for all teens. They offer online curricula, webinars, and mentorship through individual support, as well as mass digital communication.
