DemocraSHE is a female-founded and led organization driven to equip female-identifying high school students across the nation with skills and resilience to build a more just, representative democracy. DemocraSHE was co-created in 2020, with a Peer Leadership Team of high school and college-aged girls who shaped the foundational curriculum and community culture, grounded in the conviction that those who are most affected by systemic inequality should be the ones designing solutions. Using their neuroscience-based approach, DemocraSHE is working on filling the critical gap in the political leadership pipeline by helping girls manage stress, navigate hostile systems, and persist in public life.
