EarthArt Institute seeks to continue long-term, sustainable eco-social change through educational programs and cultural events. They achieve this through sustainable community living and the arts while promoting the protection and regeneration of their natural rural environment. Their Women’s EarthArt Village Enterprises (WEAVE) program partners elder women artists with young women artists in intergenerational mentorships and apprenticeships in experiential, action-based learning programs. With the garden and irrigation systems expansions achieved in 2020, EarthArt Institute is now prepared to grow significantly more healthy, clean foods for their own consumption and for Cottage Industry sales venues, increasing their revenue. With their third Mary’s Pence Grant, EarthArt plans to study regulations on selling products and obtain some critical equipment for expansion.
