The Institute for Research on Male Supremacism (IRMS) is dedicated to helping grassroots social justice groups fight male supremacism, convening women experts researching supremacists’ ideologies and movements, and educating the public about their work. IRMS brings together organizers from grassroots organizations to address male supremacism and its intersections with racism, xenophobia, and transphobia. They also provide methods and strategies to properly equip organizations to push back against harmful ideologies and frameworks. With their grant from Mary’s Pence, IRMS plans to host a weeklong summer school in 2021 that will address male supremacism and its intersections with racism, xenophobia, transphobia, etc.
