Pennsylvania Domestic Workers Alliance (PDWA) is a domestic worker-led organization fighting for justice, dignity, and power for house cleaners, nannies, and caregivers. As the only domestic worker organizing group in the state, PDWA organizes and develops the leadership of low-income women of color and immigrant women to win workplace protections and make sure all work is dignified and safe. To address the lack of basic labor protections for domestic workers, PDWA is campaigning for a Philadelphia Domestic Worker Bill of Rights. The bill of rights will provide critical workplace protections to domestic workers and guarantee safe and dignified working conditions for the first time.
