Stonewall Youth is an organization of youth, activists, and allies that empowers LGBTQ+ youth to speak for themselves, support each other, educate their communities, and work for social justice. Their HOMES program (Housing Opportunities through Many Efforts & Services) will address needs expressed by LGBTQ+ youth ages 24 and under in their urban and rural region who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. In addition to helping meet basic needs of LGBTQ+ youth who are experiencing homelessness, the HOMES program will create sustainable change by engaging their community in a youth-led community education and engagement process to learn about the experiences and needs of LGBTQ+ youth who do not have stable housing.
