Working with justice-involved women and trans women, The Don’t Look Back Center believes everyone is fighting their own battle to be free from their past in order to live in the present and create a meaningful future. The organization’s mission is to engage in co-creative community work with women and trans women to build new pathways to the higher quality of lives they seek to build for themselves. They accomplish their work with the help of mentors at the center who are dedicated to empowering women with life skills to rebuild their lives from the grip of addiction, trauma, PTSD, & domestic violence. The Don’t Look Back Center also partners with treatment providers within the WE CARE Coalition to address the overdose crisis.
