THISTL, Trans Housing Initiative St. Louis, is tackling the systemic injustices that Trans humans face in the housing sector. They advocate for the proper treatment of Trans humans seeking shelter, housing, and home ownership. THISTL educates organizations that provide shelter and housing and are building a network across organizations to document housing disparities. Their goal is to create safe, affordable housing for low-income transgender and gender-expansive individuals.
